Heat the nut up with a torch wack the wrench with a hammer to crack the nut loose. Look at the new water pump to see if it’s right or left hand thread. You ever try playing Doctor too?
I use a long pry bar and put the bar on the nut-right on the left edge of the flat spot and whack the pry bar with a small sledge. then turn it with the wrench to another flat spot and hit it again . Go all the way around hitting the left side right on the edge of the left edge.It is left to loosen -right to tighten.I just had to do this today because i am swapping motors in one of my jeeps.Trust me this works.I own four zj’s-93-95 and two 96′s.Ive had the fans off all of them.
